Enhanced with an R-type O-ring, it offers improved sealing performance under higher water pressure compared to standard O-rings, reducing the risk of leaks.
- BRACKETLESS UPGRADE - Compared to traditional whole house filter housings with brackets, the bracketless design offers several advantages: reduced installation height, saving installation space; no concerns about screw damage to the bottle cap leading to leaks; no worries about the quality of brackets, as metal brackets may be too thin to support the weight of the filter housing when filled with water and may rust over time; reduces installation complexity and saves installation time.

- REGARDING PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE - In most applications of 10 inch whole house water filter housings (such as pre-filters for equipment, RV filters, aquariums, maple syrup production, etc.), system pressure can be relieved by simply opening the outlet faucet or valve after the system stops running. Therefore, in most cases, a pressure relief valve is not necessary and may potentially introduce additional leak points due to wear and tear of the O-ring at the Pressure Relief Valve.
- Compatibility – Our water filter housing is designed to be used with standard 10" x 2.5" filter cartridges (PP, CTO, GAC, etc.). Using non-standard filters may result in poor filtration performance or leakage. We recommend purchasing our filters alongside the water filter housing to ensure optimal filtration results.
- Please note the water flow direction: When the whole house water filter is in a hanging position, water flow can only be left in and right out.
- Tips: Do not install this Whole House Water Filter Housing in areas without a proper or adequate floor drain.
- Prioritize the use of Pipe Thread Sealant for sealing. When using Teflon tape, avoid excessive wraps to protect the brass threads.
